A Summer Pause, A Shared Purpose

Jul 6, 2026

Stay Inspired Until We Meet Again This Fall

To our devoted participants (and those yet to join us):

Educating for the World We Want is taking a summer hiatus. A time for replenishment and reflection in a moment of both historical urgency and possibility.

We want to acknowledge the emergent community that has gathered with us this year from across the globe—educators, teachers, caring citizens, youth workers, and students who are themselves actively engaged in making education more vital, democratic, and expansive.

Look for us in the fall, as the leaves, at least in the Northern Hemisphere, begin to startle us with color, on the first Saturday in October.  We will continue probing and exploring the theme of student voice and agency in what we are calling Learning to Citizen.

Until then, stay attuned and alert as the world turns. May we continue learning together, what it means to become truly educated.
